Its a tool i designed to work on builds so it doesnt touch the bench or get damaged. Tool used to hold your model in place while working on it. its low tolerance so i recommend tape to shim it up so it locks or glue it but then you loose the adjustability. i recommend foam tape so it doesnt damage the paint or decals while building.
