La Pitufina fue creada por Gargamel usando arcilla y un hechizo en que la hizo malvada, con el fin de que usara sus encantos y provocara los celos y la competencia entre los Pitufos, asegurando su destrucción. La dejó en el bosque y Pitufo Fortachón la llevó a la aldea pitufa, donde hizo travesuras al punto de que nadie la soportaba.
