Born of 2nd Founding, and of Ultramarine lineage, the Black Consuls are a chapter with a long valiant history. Once devastated by Word Bearers legion in the 31st millennium, they rebuilt themselves after the orbital campaign. After battling against the word bearers their first chapter master was dubbed Bane of Lorgar, his power axe Lorgars' Bane.
