This assembly allows you to use a type D pool filter with a venturi pool vacuum. The finer micron rated pool filter allows the user to suck up smaller debris and dirt. I was successfully able to vacuum up mustard algae after shocking the pool and allowing it to settled. The vacuum to thread adapter was designed to be s snug fit with this vacuum: https://a.co/d/5SdtnlP however a hose clamp can be added to secure it if needed.
