简介

Border collie model for 3D printing. The Border Collie, for me, is first and foremost associated with agility — the sport — and with herding work out in the field. In both cases, it's about movement, drive, and speed — but also about focus and intelligence in the eyes. I based this model on frames of a Border Collie weaving through the weave poles — one of the most technically demanding obstacles in agility, where the dog must zigzag through a row of upright poles. In the end, I chose not to include the obstacle itself to keep the model more versatile. This pose expresses the explosive energy of the Border Collie combined with discipline and sharp intellect — the very traits that make this breed a champion in everything from dog sports to the complex role of a working herder. Such a pose wouldn't be physically stable on its own (and trying to force stability would go against its spirit), so it’s intended to be used with a base, which is included in the files. The base and the dog have matching keys and slots to connect them — just add a drop of strong glue for a secure fit. There's also a version without the base (and without the keys), in case you'd like to use the dog figure on its own. You can adjust the size in any slicer.
