Captain Panda adjusted the star on his chest, the Captain America suit fitting snugly over his furry form. It wasn't exactly regulation, and the shield was a bit small for his paws, but he wore it with pride. "Blast those bilge rats!" he muttered, the bamboo splinter from his last adventure still a fresh memory. His ship, the Bamboomerang, listed precariously. A storm, fiercer than any he'd seen in his years on the Azure Sea, had tossed them like a salad. His first mate, a parrot named Pip, squawked from the crow's nest, "Land ho, Cap'n! Small island, dead ahead!" Hope flickered in Captain Panda's heart. He gripped the helm, his paws surprisingly steady, the vibranium shield gleaming. "Full speed ahead, Mr. Pip! We'll make for that shore, and pray it has bamboo... and maybe a decent tailor!" The Bamboomerang, groaning, limped towards the island. They crashed onto the sandy beach, the ship a wreck, but the crew alive. And there, stretching towards the sky, was a forest of the greenest, most glorious bamboo Captain Panda had ever seen. He also spotted some oddly patriotic-looking berries. He sighed in relief. "Looks like we'll live to sail again, lads! And this time, with a bit more... style."
