3d printable pad cleaner**Mods I can delete if not allowed**Last year I had posted a link and some pictures of a 3d printable pad cleaner. I had used it a few times and it worked work but I wanted to make it better.The 2nd/3rd version removes the many, many fileted holes and instead have raised bumps with a small channel on the outer edge with 3 .75" holes to help drain into the bucket. I had noticed a big decrease in compound/polish/rinseless wash being left on the surface of the pad cleaner with the new design.V3 include 2 additional channels along the inner edge to further increase draining.This has been uploaded to Printables to be downloaded. You will need some 5mm screws and some 5mm heat set inserts. As well as some 3mm screws for the clamp and some 3mm heat set inserts too.Minimum print bed size is 300x300mm for XY direction. You can further cut the sections in half in your slicer if your print bed is smaller.After each side it printed you will need to sand down the raised bumps to they are smooth or you will risk damage to your pads.I have used the new version a couple times with no visible damage to my pads. That said - I'm not liable for any damage to your pads that may occur.I use rinsless wash in a spray bottle then apply to the pads and move around to push into the pads to clean. Then spin dry and back to a panel.Test fitted in an Adam's Polishes & Maxshine 5 gallon bucket and a Chemical guys 3 gallon bucket.
