I had a need for a wide static (i.e., non-rotating) caster to attach to the bottom of a board for a project I was working on (a table to slide out of the back of our van). However, I couldn't find exactly what I needed, so I made it.The only part on this that is actually 3D-printed is the roller casing, which I printed in black resin, though other materials may work as well.I'm in the USA, so US-standard parts are used here. If you're elsewhere, you'll need to figure out the metric equivalent. Parts list per caster:6 in. 5/16 bolt (1x)1 in. corner braces/L-brackets (2x, one per side. I did have to drill out the hole to accept a 5/16 bolt; I specifically using this two-pack from Ace Hardware: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/hardware/angles-braces-and-brackets/braces/5289608 )5/16 locking nut (1x)5/16 washers (2x)608 skate bearings (18x, 2 outer used as spacers, 16 glued inside the roller; I purchased these from Amazon, though they did require some degreasing on the outer edge so they could be glued in place: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CVBSC9Y )E6000 glue to hold it all in placePattern on the bolt is as such:Bolt head, L-bracket, bearing, washer, roller with 16 bearings glued in place, washer, bearing, L-bracket, nut.
