简介

Assembly Guide: Millie the Garden Gnome (XL & Not So XL) Welcome to the assembly guide for Millie the Gnome. Whether you are building the "XL" or the "Not So XL" version, the process is identical. The primary difference lies in the pre-scaled connector tolerances designed specifically for their respective build plates. Before You Begin: Pro-Tips & Materials Dry Fit First: I strongly recommend a "dry build" (assembling without glue) to ensure you understand part placement before making it permanent. Material Choice: * Indoor: Standard PLA. Outdoor: PETG is recommended. High Heat: Use ABS or ASA for very hot climates. Scaling: You can scale the model yourself, but if you scale down, you may need to reduce the connector size by an additional 1–2%. Orientation: When the instructions refer to "Left" or "Right," it is from the Gnome’s perspective (as if you are Millie), not yours. Filaments Used: Bambu Basic (Black, White, Orange, Red, Yellow, Pink, Mistletoe Green, Green, Beige, bronze, brown) and Matte (Yellow, Sky Blue). Printer Settings & Tolerances Supports: Required for some parts (enabled in the .3mf file). Support Tip: Set Top Z distance to 0.275 for easy removal. Ensure all connector holes are completely cleared of support debris. Tolerances: The model is designed with a 0.1mm to 0.12mm tolerance. If a connector feels too tight—especially in areas that used supports—scale that specific connector down by 1–2%. Infill: suggested 5% on larger pieces, 6-8% on medium pieces…
