Just give it a squeeze and and they'll pop right open! The unique design allows for maximum internal space and minimal material usage while still remaining strong. This means that you'll be able to fit much larger items in these eggs and they print way faster and with much less material than any other eggs out there! Each Large Gemstone Egg uses only 150 grams of filament! This large egg can be printed in less than 5 or 6 hours depending on your print settings. For larger egg designs, I've added a new feature... the Dragon Flower. This unique geometric pattern provides additional internal supports that are molded into the pattern of the egg. Doing so provides additional options for printing without supports and adds some extra flair to the eggs. Good bed adhesion is very important for the tops of the eggs. I've improved this model to have some extra surface on the first couple of layers to add some extra adhesion. Some filaments with poor bed adhesion will benefit from a small internal brim. I generally avoid external brims to keep the outer surface as smooth as possible. I print my eggs on the newer style cool plates and have the best adhesion with a 0 gap internal brim and 45 degree bed temp. If you're having bed adhesion problems, then I suggest first adding the internal brim and then increasing your bed temperature if you're still having issues.
