This is one of a set of four anatomical studies made by Erna Engel-Baiersdorf in 1931. Each plaster cast model shows the different male body types, Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph. Born in Vienna in 1899, Erna Engel-Baiersdorf was a painter, sculptor and anthropological reconstructionist.
