Vertical Blind Clips

These clips prevent my vertical blinds from flapping about in the breeze when my windows and blinds are both open, which can damage the blind weights and fixing clips.The 2 models are designed to fit 18 standard 89mm wide blind slats measuring 4.3mm total thickness. The length and/or width can be rescaled in your slicer to suit.To rescale a clip to your dimensions, divide the width of your blind by 89mm, or divide the total thickness of your bundle of slats by 4.3mm. Then scale the x and/or y dimensions by those results.The photo shows a clip rescaled to 170% to accommodate a 7.3mm thick bundle of blinds (7.3/4.3 is approximately 1.7)Note that rescaling will alter the shape of the rounded ends, if that matters.There are 2 versions, one with ribs along its length and one without. The ribs add a little more rigidity which can be useful if the number of blind slats is small. The clips are not designed to be a tight fit as this will just spread the clip apart and may leave indentation marks of your blinds. They only need to be tight enough to stop them sliding out of position.You can either use supports to print the model with ribs, or use the "Make Overhang Printable" feature in Cura's "Experimental" settings, which places a non removable chamfered support under the rib overhang.
