"HEART. STEEL." "WE. KILL." "GET. UP." "ONTO. WAR." A-1 Raiders are the primary infantry of the Automaton forces. They are deployed in large formations of ten to twenty, fulfilling a variety of combat roles. They are most commonly seen carrying laser carbines. Notably, their small-arms lack iron sights or optics, as all targeting is achieved via their visual sensors. Specialists like the MG Raider perform the suppressive fire role with their laser repeaters, while Rocket Raiders perform an anti-armor role, equipped with man-portable ATGMs and high-explosive warheads. A forth variant, the Brawler, exchanges it's forearms for a pair of energy blades, preferring close-quarters-combat with opposing helldivers. Their formations are commanded by a single Automaton Commissar. These officers coordinate with and distribute orders from Cybercentral Command, and can request reinforcements via bot-drop if necessary.
