I built these brackets to reinforce a clothes hamper my wife got at a yard sale. It was falling apart from poor design and abuse. It's rock solid now. These can also be used to build a hamper frame from scratch. It uses 7/8"x1/2" boards for the cross beams, and 5/8" dowels for the spanners. You'll need 2x bolts of your choosing for the pivots. I used standard finishing nails and pressed them into the holes provided using pliers. It is recommended to countersink the dowels into the cross members to prevent the braces from sliding. It is recommended to print these laying down so that they layers wrap around the square portion as that is where the most stress is. I've had 3 of these snap on layer seperations because I printed them with the tube pointing up and my kids are very rough on the furniture. | Download free and paid 3D printable STL files
