Death dragons are made when the skeletal remains of a true dragon are infused by the cataclysmic energies. Most often they are created by necromancers and used as the unliving engines of destruction, but as those necroconstructs grow in power, so do they regain their former selves and eventually may try to turn against their creators. Since they are unwilling creations of necromantic magic, they are less intelligent than their living counterparts, often vile and cruel, and their power mostly depends on the age of the dragons whose remains were used to create them.
