This was designed as a night lamp for the kids. Because it is going to be turned on when everyone is asleep, it has been designed with some safety in mind. Low voltage/current and a self-recovering fuse in the circuit makes sure it will never overheat and safeguarded against short-circuits. We created it with the idea that every parent should be able to put this together without having to solder or have a an understanding of electronic circuits. All you need to get started is an AMS and the parts below. Parts: USB-A cable (what's in the other end won't matter) 5v LED strip PolySwitch 200-500mA (fuse) TTP223 Touch Button (optional) Old Phone charger with USB-A port Super Glue AND Hot Glue. Assembly guide and details can be found in the PDF file. In the documentation there are 2 options to make the circuit. One with touch buttton and one without any buttons.
