You always wanted to create your very own multicolor filament?Now you can, and this is how: If you want to create your own filament, you can simply print it. The main body is a hexagonal shaped spiral, inspired by this video from Sunshine. Also watch my Instructable for this project for more information. In the download you will find STL files for different types of hexagonal shaped filaments: - Dual Color filament - Multi Color for multi material devices - Rainbow filament for single extruder You will also find a F3D (Fusion360) file of the filament, in case you want to change something. You will need: - 3D printer with at least 205 mm x 205 mm bed size - PLA filament in different colors All files are made for a special resolution: First layer height: 0.2 mm Other layers: 0.12 mm Don't print them in any other resolution! Dual-Sided filament: Print File "Hex_Filament_9.5_meters_DualColor_V01", pause at half and swap filament.Resume print and finish it with the second color. Watch this video for more information: (LINK)Multi Color for multi material devices: These are the files you will need: 01_Hex_Filament_9.5_meters_multi_bottom_0.2_V01 and all other 14 files with "multi" written behind "meters_".
