So I am trying to cut the cable per-say and I ran across this Android TV set-top box (see more here: https://amzn.to/2Pv9zbb ) and decided to give it a try and love it! Its basically an Android Phone with an HDMI output and WIFI radio instead of LTE. You can even download app's from the Google Playstore and run them on this box! However where to mount as the one challenge with it is that it uses IR for the remote so line of sight to the box has be maintained for to work therefore tucking it behind the TV was not an option as I had done with the cable box which was RF. So off to Fusion 360 it was and whipped up this top of TV mount (so it really is a set-top-box now!). The bracket is cinched to the back of the TV with some 1/4-20 nylon bolts (see more here: https://amzn.to/35HAMNJ ). I have also included the Fusion file to if you want to make changes to the model to fit your needs!
