Yours will likely be longer.Step 0: Prepare M3 threaded rodsStep 0a: Cut M3 threaded rodsUsing an Angle Grinder or a Hack Saw, cut your 2x 1000mm M3 Threaded Rods to:Regular Scale Neck: 650mmShort Scale Neck: 610mmStep 0b: Smooth edgesYou want to deburr the end you cut. I like to use a belt sander.Step 1: Insert M3 Square Nuts into Chunk #1Step 2: Screw threaded rods into Square Nuts💡 Make sure to only thread it in very slightly, you will tighten these later, and you will want as much length as you can get before that.Step 3: Assemble NeckYour neck has 24 frets, please repeat these steps for all 24 of themStep 3a: Put in rubber band / GlueRecommended setup is Glue, but if you want to dissassemble the neck in the future use a rubber band instead.Either loop a 10mm thin rubber band around both M3 Threaded rods and slide it down to the previous neck…
