Description

This is a universal housing for the EBYTE E290 series usable for RS485 / MODBUS wireless connections, more specifically the E290-400R30D and the E290-400R20D which is smaller. It is equipped with an opening to install a chassis USB-C connector (Easy to find on ALIexpress) and an opening for CAT4-5 cable with a push pulls clamp. You can leave the supprt for the USB connector in there if you power the unit over the RJ45 cable. The bottom side has two openings for screw mount magnets of 1cm diameter (also easy to find on ALI) to be able to stick the unit on a metal case like a metering cabinet or metal inverter. There is also a thinner part in the front to be able to see the LED's on the board, most coloured or white filaments are transparent enought to see the bright LED's
