These adapter extensions add about 50% more space by measurement, but in practice the space is 100% or more usable. There is still an excess gap and amount of space between the door's extended storage trays and the primary interior freezer shelf. No glue or silicone is needed to hold the adapters firmly in place when the door tray-compartment is firmly in place. But I used a thin film of silicone to hold the adapters firmly in place all by themselves and without the need for the factory door compartments to be in place. This will allow for carefree cleaning.
