To convert my old IMAC 2015 27 "5K into an iMac Cinema Display I need a camera and compatible micros, the originals cannot be used. Find in Aliexpres some generic with USB port to which they can be connected to the panel control plate, it is not necessary to install drivers, and in the camera to others to offer great quality by 5MPX it works really well.The microphone is located in one of the original two places. In the camera support I have arranged two holes to install 2 LEDs of 3mm, one indicates the Powe ON of the controlling plate, the other LED + 10K OHMS resistance is designed to illuminate with the + 5V of the USB that feeds the microphone and the camera from a rear switch,I want to deactivate them, for this I use an old USBA cut cable for the microphone, identifying the 4 contacts, but only use a food for both, the consumption is really very low.
