The Mistral is an infrared-guided anti-aircraft missile system from the European company MBDA. The Mistral was originally developed by the French company Aérospatiale, which later became part of MBDA. The missile system has been produced since 1988 and is in use in 25 countries. The missile has a length of 186 cm and weighs 18.7 kg. The Mistral can reach a maximum speed of 800 m/s and has a range of 6 km. Le Mistral est un système de missile antiaérien à guidage infrarouge produit par la société européenne MBDA. Initialement développé par la société française Aérospatiale, il a ensuite été intégré à MBDA. Ce système de missile est en production depuis 1988 et est utilisé dans 25 pays. Le missile mesure 186 cm de long et pèse 18,7 kg. Le Mistral peut atteindre une vitesse maximale de 800 m/s et a une portée de 6 km.
