Dawn was a space probe launched by NASA and led by JPL in the United States. Its mission was to examine the dwarf planet Ceres and the asteroid Vesta, which are located in the asteroid belt situated between Mars and Jupiter. It was launched on September 27, 2007, explored Vesta between 2011 and 2012 and orbited Ceres from 2015 to 2018. In October 2017, NASA announced that the mission was to be extended until depletion of the probe's fuel occurred at the end of October 2018. From Wikipedia the probe had a core of the spacecraft is a composite graphite cylinder, it had traditional satellite fuel, hydrazine and what is used for plasma drive engines which is xenon inside titanium tanks. It had two wings of photovoltaic panels with a surface area of 19.7 m2, mounted on opposite sides of the ship. A 1.52 m high gain dish antenna for communication with Earth. Three low gain antennas are also mounted on the spacecraft. A 5 m long arm carries the magnetometer from the top panel of the spacecraft. Also, on top of the spacecraft are the scientific instruments (camera, mapping spectrometer, laser altimeter, star trackers, a gamma ray spectrometer and a neutron spectrometer). Star trackers are used as a satellite positioner in space is normal, not simple. This model I have taken from NASA and I have modified it to be able to edit it. Of course I will incorporate my own models, but of course we all start this way studying others, but I am capable of designing this, but often lack of time…
